About Irene
I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work, as well as two undergraduate degrees. I have been a Social Worker for over 25 years, having held clinical positions at both Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health. I am a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers (#10781), the Alberta College of Social Workers (#18976), and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#832774).
I am a registered service provider with the First Nations Health Authority, ICBC and the Crime Victim Assistance Program. I use a number of therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Functional Imagery Training.
I am originally from Toronto but lived in BC for almost 20 years. I now call Alberta home and live in Edmonton with my husband and our two dogs.
